I know, very concise title… but I thought it rather fitting. You see, yesterday I got hit in the mouth with a softball. So hard, in fact, that I was knocked right over, and my lip bled so much that my hands and mouth were covered with blood. Exciting, eh? Also, part of one of my bottom teeth was knocked off. I’m glad it wasn’t the whole thing…
If I smile like this, it doesn’t look quite so awful. But it still looks funny…
This is what I looked like, for anyone who was chatting with me yesterday or this morning…
I ended up tying the T-shirt on my mouth by the arms… it made my lip feel better to have that soft pressure. haha. My family said I looked like a bandit.
Here’s a nice horrid picture…
Oh my!! I can’t believe it! (I decided since I was holding my hand over my mouth I might as well look shocked while I was at it…
Well, there ya have it, curious friends of mine. That’s what I look like when I can’t talk. Except it looks worse in real life. Maybe I’ll get a better bad picture later…

Not to like… you know, make a comparison, but that fourth picture looks like something they would take right before you get locked up in prison or something. Heh.

A comparison? What’s that supposed to mean? But yes, you are right. It does resemble a “mug shot”.

Yep, looks like you got captured in the last one.
Yup, just like I thought it looked like. Haha!
You should have seen my eye…

Haha, you two are conspiring together, methinks…
Really? That’s funny. Scrape and all?
Your eye? What did you do to it?

Ouch!! That does not look good. I don’t know if I want to see a better picture of it being worse….
See that is why I don’t like base/softball.
It is a dangerous sport!!!
Are you taking arnica to help with it? A friend of mine uses it a lot for injuries like that. She has 4 boys (and two girls).
I hope you recover quickly!

No, it doesn’t. haha.
Good for you! I don’t like it either.
Yes, it is. And it can also be boring…
Oh! No… We don’t have any.
That would be good, though… I am taking goldenseal and a herbal combination… I also put tea tree oil on it and vitamin E. Among other things.
I am having fun trying to get it healed as fast as I can. It’s already feeling a lot better, though it still looks horrid…
Thank you, I do too!

Love the title. You know, Carissa, you have very mean friends. Me included. So I think I’ll just join this ole’ conspiracy. I don’t know what you did, dear. but you look like you’re headed for…ahem…a not so nice place… Either that or you were kidnapped by terrorists.
Ok, I’ll be nice. You look awful. (Um…that didn’t really sound much better, did it?…) Let’s try again. How about “I hope you get better real fast?” Keep drinking those lovely smoothies and hugging ice packs. And praying.

Thank you. I thought that title up myself. *serious important look* Yes ma’am, I know this. Mrs. Lauser is the only nice one, apparently. *sigh* *sniff* Goodness, why do y’all always assume the worst? I mean am I really that naughty??
Oh. Kidnapped… That would be interesting. Maybe I have been! Only they won’t let me tell the real story! And they erased my memory! And my prison looks exactly like my home! And my captors look like my family! My, wouldn’t that be tragic??
Um, thank you. Wow, my friends have rather different opinions. One thinks I look just as nice or better, the other thinks I look cute, and you and Mrs. Lauser say I look awful. hmm. *ponders* Oh! That’s a good one. Sure, that works.
I shall continue in all those things, never fear. Actually, though, I can eat now! And it doesn’t really hurt, so I don’t have to have the ice pack. It is ever so much easier to type and talk now. I like being able to communicate. Even if I do look very odd…

That title is quite fitting… Seems painful
I hope you’re recovering quickly!
And for the record, I agree with Mrs. Lauser! That’s why I don’t play any sports…hehe

Haha, thank you Sophie!
Yes, I am recovering very well. You can hardly see it any more.
God is good!
Hehe. It is dangerous… I do like playing sports still, though. Just… I don’t think I’m playing softball any more.
