Father-Daughter Event Ideas?

Here’s where you all get to comment! Aren’t you excited? 🙂

Hannah and I are thinking about doing a father-daughter event at our church, with the “main event” being watching “Return of the Daughters”.

I am wondering if you all have any ideas for activities– games, crafts, etc…

Or any other special touches or whatever else you can come up with.

Please comment with your ideas! Thank you so much!

  1. Do an obstacle course where the girls are blindfolded & their fathers have to lead them through the obstacle course safely without touching them just using verbal instructions. We did this at a father-daughter camp out & it lead to a great discussion afterward.

Jenny Florio posted some pictures from their BL father/daughter event if you want to see http://thelittlewomen.wordpress.com/

Thank you for the idea, Allison! We probably will do that. What camp did you go to?

Thank you also for the link! That is helpful.

      • The high school girls homeschool Bible study I’m in organized a camp out. The girls organized it – supplies, food, activities & all! We had a great time.

Another idea I thought of… one night we did a trivia game & we had to buzz in answers to questions they had previously asked our dads such as favorite movie, dream job, etc. They did the same thing for the dad’s.

Let me know how it goes!
